Han Rx is the herbal medicine side of the Han Institute clinic in West Lafayette and Zionsville, Indiana. Herbal medicine is one of the clinic’s core modalities, alongside acupuncture, cupping, gua sha and moxibustion.
How herbal care works
- Evaluation. An herbal evaluation is required before any formula is recommended.
- Your plan. Herbs are part of a recommended treatment plan that may also include acupuncture and other therapies.
- Follow-up. Continued appointments for herb care.
Before you start
- Tell your practitioner about every medication and supplement you take. Some herbs interact with medications.
- Tell your physician you’re taking herbs, especially if you’re pregnant or nursing, take prescription medication or are scheduled for surgery.
